As a Singer, Speech-Language Pathologist, Voice Therapist and Singing Voice Specialist, I have been passionate about all things “Vocal” for most of my life. Since 1996 I have dedicated my practice to helping singers and speakers train, develop, rehabilitate and restore their voices. I maintain a strong working relationship with many of NYC’s top Otolaryngologists and Voice Specialists and continue to study and stay up to date with current research in the field of voice science and vocal pedagogy as a clinician and singing voice specialist. Having enjoyed a varied and successful performing career (see performance credits) I have first-hand knowledge of the unique demands placed upon singers and professional speakers. I seek to bring my extensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the speech and singing mechanism to my students in a clear and practical manner. I do not hold to any particular “method” as my therapy and teaching practice revolves around determining what each individual voice requires. Each therapy patient, client and student learn to develop fundamental physiological skills as a foundation for healthy and superior singing and speaking. My purpose is to ensure that no matter what style of music my clients are focused on, each person is able to maximize their vocal potential, acquire maximum vocal health and apply these skills and training to their individual artistry.
